queenp71!!! I'm so sorry I'm late, but our internet conked out yesterday morning and didn't get fixed until late this afternoon, just when we were getting ready to go for self-defense class. If you give me a prompt, I'll write you a drabble. :-)
I was in the middle of writing an email when it went out. Now, this happens occasionally for a few minutes, and all we have to do is wait and it'll come back with no probs, even IM won't cut off during such times. But after 15 minutes or so, we realized it was a conspiracy against us *nods_gravely*. Phone calls were made. Ah, yes, something was wrong. So I sat down to write some, then some more, and then even more. Later on, I took the kidlets to their self-defense classes, and very quickly sneaked into a hotel parking lot, tapped into their wireless and quickly checked the e-mail. Then I did some more writing. Roughly 1500 hand-written words, now waiting to be typed up.
I slept really badly because DB wasn't next to me for the first time in three months. The night before I didn't get much sleep either because we had to go to the airport seriously early, and I can't just go to sleep early.
I trust Starbucks shares have gone up at the end of today, seeing that is what kept me awake during the day. The poor kids now have one very grumpy karelia to deal with. I should go to bed. But at least the internets are back.
