I'm assuming you've taken aspirin/tylenol/ibuprofen already I'm a firm advocate of Excedrin, myself. Several years ago, I had a headache that lasted DAYS. Went to the Dr. It wasn't a migraine because of how/where it hurt and the fact that having my husband rub the back of my head would lessen the pain for a bit. Dr. decided that it was tension headache and gave me a prescription pain pill specifically for headaches. When I compared the ingredients, I found that only one was different between Excedrin (apap, aspirin, & caffeine) and my Fioricet (apap, butalbital, & caffeine). While the Excedrin doesn't completely kill the really bad headaches, they take care of just about everything else.
