... is what I am in just about everything.

I'm behind in answering reviews. So fucking late I'm dreading the day I have time to answer because people will say, "WTF? Where did that come from?"

Behind, sort of, in the queue. Because at some stage I felt burnt out and couldn't make sense of sentences, so I figured it was better to simply give up and let others do the admin stuff.

Behind in packing. We're moving in just over two weeks. I've not even started yet. Have a few boxes, but that nowhere near covers the needs for boxes. Yes, yes, the move is only local, and we have this place until the end of October, but, srsly, once I'm out of here, I really have no interest in returning.

I'm whining now, but alas, you've read this far... or not. Dorkboy is leaving for California on Sunday. I am happy in the way that he's really, srsly moved up in the company, but I'm not happy that he's having to travel again, and long-term to boot. I can take California only in small doses and can hope that the earthquakes will only affect me if they're big. Otherwise I'm toast.

Yes to Azkatraz. I will register by about November I think.

And I think I need sleep now.

Yeah. 28th. I can't wait to get it over with, really. But I'm glad we didn't manage to move when we wanted to; it would have been way too hot, and I just don't tolerate heat very well.

No, earthquakes happen every day in CA. Big ones happen rarely. I live a good 200 miles from the New Madrid faultline, and I feel them from around 2.5. I don't want to think what my head would feel like in CA. Honestly.

I hear you on tornadoes, yup! We experienced our first one earlier this year, and it wasn't an experience I want repeated, really. Not even for being able to write a believable tornado scene... LOL

Oh, I forgot about your headaches. That's right. Then you probably wouldn't have enjoyed the last earthquake we had where my bed was swaying like a ship (with me and the kids on it). I mean, I thought it was fun. But if things like that gave me headaches, I'd hate them as much as I hate the Santa Ana Winds around here (severe allergies to whatever gets blown around).

Tornadoes. You know, for that, I'm glad I don't live in Wisconsin anymore. I do miss a really good thunder storm. I always loved those. But tornadoes. I saw one once, a really picturesque one, about a mile from my house. (Luckily it was moving in a left to right direction.) It was scary and awesome (as in producing awe) at the same time.
