Sometimes, I find it a wee bit hard to find a 'subject' title here... So today it's just that, Ramblings.
I'm pleased that I'm now an author on OWL: http://owl.tauri.org HP fanfic, absolutely brilliant archive. And I'm ever so pleased that my chapter 4 did not appear to need any corrections. I went through it as I uploaded and changed a few commas, but that was all. This chapter was the one that really got me to lose heart on another archive, where I was basically told that my writing has too many mistakes... I feel so much more confident now. First, NSS from http://www.thepetulantpoetess.com gave me loads of confidence with her encouragement, her detailed corrections, and very constructive comments. I'll be forever grateful to you, NSS! And now my 'Damage Control' is a WIP on OWL. *looks_very_smug_and_happy*
Talking of writing, I'm amazed how sometimes things slip in that you're not aware of at the time of writing, but then at an occasion you become aware of them... Talk about subconscious at work here...
Anyways, talking of the Petulant Poetess, who accepts original works, I've posted a short original story: http://www.thepetulantpoetess.com/viewstory.php?sid=1118&PHPSESSID=c61062863bbf2788d5db2b3f51e3aa95 If you go read it, pretty please leave a review. Reviews are amazing, they are food, no they are the favorite food of a writer. It's like getting a bag full of alfalfa sprouts, with fresh butter and rye bread! Reading a review, I can go and write another thousand words with ease! Before I posted anything and only read, I thought authors made fun saying that reviews are food. But you know, it's true!
Tomorrow is Equinox. Blimey, six months ago we spent the Spring Equinox in London, and I knew then that we'd spend the Fall Equinox in London as well. So... I'll write about it tomorrow. No sunrise watching planned, but a nice day for sure. Tennis included, of course.
