I prefer reading over listening anyway, but taking into account that many fanfics are quite bad, it's so much easier to hit the back button than to fast forward or delete stuff from your MP3 player or whatever. And who's going to read them in the first place? The authors?

I absoutely prefer reading, too. But the idea of a podcast intrigues me. :-)
