Merry Christmas
Dec. 25th, 2004 05:07 pmOkay, okay I've given in. Merry Christmas everyone! I really tried hard to stay away from all the xmas hype and everything, but I've caved in. I'm ecstatic right now, so... Happy Christmas!
It's been a very happy day so far, anyways, but then my aunt phoned me from thousands of miles away! That's why I'm ecstatic! I've never before received a merry xmas call from a relative, except my mother when she was talking to me and it was never the most pleasant of calls. And now, my aunt calls me, just to say merry xmas. We chatted a bit, and I think we both left the phone even happier than before the call. :-)
Uncle D, I'll be forever grateful for your avid curiosity of geneaological links, otherwise I'd never have been found by you! I definitely owe you one, so come over quickly, you know you always wanted to visit Southern England, no? *raises_eyebrow_challengingly*
I'm currently enjoying my cashmere scarf and hoping for seriously cold weather tomorrow, since we're going to London *sigh*. Oxford Street on Boxing Day, what a wonderful idea *wonders_if_hubby_has_gone_completely_insane*. Ah well, it'll be another experience to blog. Southall should be fun, though, and hopefully I'll find that dark green non-stretch velvet, so Little One can have his cloak made. If not, I'll find it locally the day after.
I'll go now, you must be very bored having read this. I'll play around the LJ, maybe I'll figure out how to upload pictures.
