Oh, Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy - did you know he only makes faces like that when he KNOWS the camera's on him?

*giggles* Can't argue with his talent, though.

The Hockney production's gotta be my favorite, and I remember seeing this about 3 times when I was younger: my dad's the First Priest and one of my friends was one of the three kids.

Yes, his talent is definitely there. Although, right now, I think I'm falling in love with Ozawa...

Colour me green. You've seen it there? Wow! I've seen The Magic Flute many times, but never at the Met. I think the performance that stands out most to me is the one I saw at the Puppet Theatre in Salzburg as a child; the recording played involved Fischer-Dieskau, and I envied the people behind the scenes who made the puppets move. :D
