Life around here has come to a screeching halt while Lucius is visiting Mr Mozart. *mumbles incoherently about evil prompt creators*

When nothing came to me on Saturday night after our Keeper of the Prompts, [livejournal.com profile] organic_chemist, issued the prompt to me, I sort of filed it away under 'to be done one day.' Uhuh. Yeah. Right. No. It sort of turned itself into a sequel of Reacquainting with Beethoven, and, uh, yeah, it won't rest until it's done.

Have some brilliance while you breathlessly await my new opus, which is courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] mundungus42. Thanks, love. It's entirely too brilliant to be lost in the comments. :D

I looked for years for that song. It wasn't until I was on youtube listening to Vitas that I clicked on a related video and found it. *sighs* I do really like that song - brings up good childhood memories.

*shakes arms to dispel goosebumps*

I think she's a little pissed off! *nervous laughter*

(Holy shit, that was amazing.)

(Blindingly good. Just blindingly good.)

One hopes that you don't send her after any evil prompt creators...

Had to scramble for speaker cable because Der Hölle Rache overcame my feeble laptop sound. Splendid video (and costume - have you seen the Natalie Dessay one where she appears to be wearing a turquoise nightie?).

No, I haven't seen it and why haven't you posted a link??? :D

As much as I love the colour turquoise, but... I prefer her voice over the choice of dress... Definitely nightie! Thanks for that! :D

*grins* I should really thank you for the prompt; I enjoyed writing it tremendously.

That title suits you very well. *ducks and runs*

Oh, I hope you enjoyed Die Zauberflöte! It is my favourite opera.

I'm grateful to Lucius, though, that after a solid week of Mozart, he's now into Tchaikovsky. Intense man, he is! :D

Of course, he must be tired of spending time in 1791 all week... *points at icon*

I very much enjoyed Die Zauberflöte! It's one of my favourite operas too, but I hadn't listened to it in a while, so it felt like meeting an old friend again.

Tchaikovsky is fabulous - Lucius has good taste. Maybe he plans a trip to 19th C. Russia next?

*nods* I totally agree, on the costume, too! If you scroll up in the comments, persevero posted a link to a hilarious costume. It looks even more amusing with this one in mind... :D
