A picnic in the park

After all this rain in the last few days, it was finally sunny and even warm. We walked down to the village, found another shortcut that runs through the middle of cow fields. The scenery here is beautiful. We went to the chip shop first, and finally sampled the famous Belgian Fritten, and Little One chose some chicken to go with the fries. Then we took it all to the park and ate there, while his highness played to his heart’s content, even made friends! Who needs verbal communication when it comes to playing *laugh*. We stayed there for nearly two hours, him playing, me writing. On the way back, we checked out a path that we had hoped might yield some ‘shrooms, but alas, no luck *sigh*. The season is nearly over, and we’ve not been ‘shrooming a single time *sob*. Ah well, next year will bring another season. In any case, we’ve probably walked a good five miles or so today, add to that the running Little One did, and here’s hoping he’ll go to sleep early for a change. *Yawn*. If he doesn’t, I probably will...
The laundry is done, too, so maybe tomorrow we’ll venture into Germany and do some shopping, and most importantly, I’ll get a chance to get on-line. I’ve got a lot written that needs uploading on here, and an entire chapter of the new story that I have to send to NSS. DC is growing nicely as well, but it won’t be ready for Tatiana tomorrow, probably around the weekend it will be.
